OUR STORY

GlenTui is a family owned development, which began in 2011 with an opportunity to purchase this beautiful land. Since then it has been a labour of love and pride that we see GlenTui come to fruition and see its full potential as a beautiful place to live.

GlenTui is named in memory of Glen Johnston, who passed away in 2009. He was legend in his own right, entrepreneur, successful businessman in Wellington who originated from Invercargill. He is survived by Alexandra (Lexie) and Demi Tui Johnston which are the drive behind this venture.

Tui is my mother’s name and daughter’s middle name, this has great meaning to our family and combined with Glen, GlenTui Heights was created. It’s wonderful for our daughters to keep his memory alive and feel proud of our achievements together over 20 years.

Unlike most ‘developers’ I live in GlenTui Heights with our daughters so everything I do is for them and their future as this is the place we call home.

It hasn’t come without its challenges, but I have been fortunate to be able to navigate through all the processes with some amazing people. It really is a big team effort and requires a lot of patience to get something like this off the ground and to gain traction and see progress.
